Two important updates today regarding the Digital Reserve Vaults:
1) DR Vault s1 Strategy Update and Redeployment
The DR Vault s1 (Set One) has received a strategy update to rebalance the portfolio allocation to:
WBTC - 40%
WETH - 40%
PAXG - 20%
DR Vaults s1 and s2 are now fully operational and open for deposits. After a review of the constantly evolving legal and regulatory environment surrounding DeFi, it is clear that the service offered by Vaults s1 and s2 are within the defined compliant operations.
2) DR Vault Withdrawal Fee Removed
Until now, the DR Vaults carried a 1% withdrawal fee upon user withdrawals. This 1% fee was fed back in WETH to the Foundation Fund to cover future expenses. However, due to DRC's commitment to eventual, full decentralisation, the withdrawal fee has been removed and this feedback of funding has ceased.
The removal of this fee is again to closer align DRC with the current regulatory guidelines regarding investment vehicles and securities classification. Additionally, the removal of the fee may increase interest and deposits into the DR Vaults themselves.
