A landmark Snapshot vote has just been posted:
This vote addresses a proposal from the DRC Foundation to grant $3000 for an opportunity submitted to us by one of DRC's most active and loyal members, Emmanuel Okwori.

Contained within the proposal is the following link to a .pdf which contains the DRC Foundation's proposal, Mr. Okwori's original proposal and a series of photographs:
The final part of the proposal is towards the DRC community. The opportunity presented to Mr. Okwori carries the cost of $6000, twice the grant offered by the DRC Foundation. This means that we are extending the responsibility for the remaining $3000 to the DRC Community.
Therefore, all donations to the DRC Foundation Fund in the form of USDC, ETH or DRC worth $500 or more will be rewarded with a GEN01 NFT. Any other donations will also be greatly appreciated and well received.
The deadline for the community donations is August 31st 2021.
